TRF Challenge

Technical Regulations: TRF Challenge

1. All Tamiya 4WD Chassis are allowed.
2. Only Tamiya Brushless Motor is allowed.

3. Any ESC from any brand that’s available in the market is ALLOWED but must be set to “blinky” (No boost/turbo) mode.
4. Tires allowed: Tamiya Type A (#53433) – Carpet (Indoor), Tamiya Type B3 (#53705) – Asphalt (Outdoor)
5. Inserts allowed: Tamiya Medium-Narrow Medium Inner (#53582)
6. Final Drive ratio (FDR) is controlled.

*Internal Ratio of Car is Not Allowed to be changed.

7. Any Original Tamiya Hop-up option and spare parts is allowed as long as it is used in the way it is designed for.
8. All body shells must be painted.
9. Any attempt to modify or influence the ability of the motor is not allowed. No changing of motor connectors is allowed. However, motor timing (in the case of TBLM-02S) is allowed but participants will have to take full responsibility in the event of failure to complete run due to motor overheating issues.
10. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the E.S.C is NOT allowed (inclusive of adding additional capacitors or any other influencing device). Only battery plugs are allowed to be changed.
11. Minimum weight of car after run: 1350g
12. Clearance under main chassis parts (including battery tape) must exceed 5mm after race.
13. Any form of driving aid is not allowed to be use.

(E.g. Gyro, Active Steering Assist Unit)

14. Only Tamiya TBLM-02S 10.5T Motor (54611) is allowed, Maximum KV – 3630
    Motors will need to be check and tagged before race
15. All Tamiya 1/10 Scale Bodyshell is ALLOWED (Except: BMW series, NSX (super GT version), B4 Legarcy) (Lightweight or sticker variations is allowed)
