Technical Regulations: Racing Truck Challenge

  1. Only Tamiya TT01/E Chassis is allowed.
  2. Only Tamiya Racing Truck Bodyshell from 58632, 58642 and 58661 is allowed.
  3. Only Tamiya Brushless E.S.C and Motor are allowed.

  1. Only Tamiya TBLM-02S 15.5T motor is allowed, Maximum KV – 2600
    Motors will need to be check and tagged before race
  2.  Tires allowed: Only Stock car kit tires and wheels are allowed (colour variation for wheels are allowed).
  3. Final Drive ratio (FDR) is controlled.

  1. All Tamiya racing truck body shells must be painted.
  2. Any attempt to modify or influence the ability of the motor is not allowed. No changing of motor connectors is allowed. However, motor timing (in the case of TBLM-02S) is allowed but participants will have to take full responsibility in the event of failure to complete run due to motor overheating issues.
  3. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the E.S.C is NOT allowed (inclusive of adding additional capacitors or any other influencing device). Only battery plugs are allowed to be changed.
  4. Minimum weight of car after run: 1450g
  5. Clearance under main chassis parts (including battery tape) must exceed 5mm after race.
  6. Any Original Tamiya Hop-up option and spare parts is allowed as long as it is used in the way it is designed for.
 
 
 
*Note: For participants that qualify for TAC Finals 2019, rules and regulations might vary and participants are strictly recommended to abide to the rules and regulations for TAC Finals 2019.
